Leading videogames website GameSpot have revealed that the PlayStation 3 will make an appearance earlier than expected. Last year Sony announced that the new console would be shown for the first time at E3 2005, but now it looks like the wait won’t be as long.
The PlayStation 3, which uses the new Cell chip, will be revealed at an event which will take place before E3. Whether this means days or weeks before has yet to be revealed. It definitely won’t be at the GDC, which Sony Representatives making it clear that the event has nothing to do with March’s conference show.
