Global Testpunch is the wonderful name for Arms’ open beta that was announced during last night’s Nintendo Direct. Over the course of two weekends, players will be able to get a taste of the motion-controlled fighter via the client that’s currently available to download on the eShop.

Over the May 26 and June 2 weekends, players from all across the world will be able to get a feel for Nintendo’s new IP with the one caveat that both Fridays (May 26 and June 2) are North American tests, only.

You can check out the full presentation below where Nintendo also revealed three new characters for the game: Kid Cobra, Byte, and Twintelle. And on top of that, it was announced that new characters and features will be added to the game regularly, after its release date.

Arms will be available on Nintendo Switch in June.
