GAME has announced a series of lock-in events allowing customers to go hands-on with PlayStation 4 in the weeks leading up to its release on November 29.
Starting next Monday, October 21 until November 17, 62 stores across the country will be hosting evening events offering gamers the chance to play Knack, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, Super Mother Load, Pinball Arcade and Contrast.
To take part, gamers must be 16 or over and have registered their interest in advance with the relevant store.
“The PS4 brings a huge range of incredible games, jaw-dropping graphics, social integration like never before and a sheer power that has had the gaming community incredibly excited since it was first announced,” said Charlotte Knight, category manager at GAME.
“We’re delighted to bring this exclusive evening experience to our stores and customers – we know they are going to be thrilled to be some of the first gamers in the UK to get hands on with PS4 over a month before it hits the shelves. Our relationship and partnership with Sony is key to the work we’re doing – we have already delivered three great lock-in tours with Sony this year and this PS4 tour promises to be the best yet. It’s an incredible opportunity for our customers and we can’t wait to join them in getting hands on with the next generation, exclusively at GAME.”
GAME will be offering customers the chance to go hands-on with Xbox One, too.
