Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare will release on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on February 21, 2013, EA has announced. The PC version will be available at a later date.

The third-person multiplayer shooter will also be available at a budget price, the publisher reaffirmed, costing £34.99 on Xbox One and £24.99 on Xbox 360.

The Xbox One version will also contain two additional modes, including splitscreen local co-op and ‘Boss Mode’, where players are able to use Kinect or a SmartGlass device to offer support to their teammates, similar to Battlefield 4’s Commander Mode.

“Gamers across the world have fallen in love with the Plants vs. Zombies characters and now they’ll get to see them in an entirely new light,” said producer Brian Lindley. “Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare give the series’ fans and shooter players a fun, new experience that they’ll both enjoy as they blast, chomp and laugh their way through co-op and head-to-head online action.”
