Free to play massively multiplayer shooter PlanetSide 2 will launch for PS4 on June 23 across Europe and North America.
“On behalf of the PlanetSide 2 development team, we’d like to thank the tens of thousands of players that have taken part in the closed beta testing,” said Andy Sites, director of development. “Because of you, we’ve been able to make a ton of refinements to the game that otherwise wouldn’t have been possible without your valuable feedback.”
The PS4 version boasts a number of unique features not found in the PC version, such as the new battle map, Koltyr.
Players can also expect frequent game updates.
