Dylan Cuthbert, President and Executive Producer, Q-Games has posted on the official PlayStation Blog with news of a PixelJunk Eden update scheduled for release in the US on January 15 – the update will be released in Europe shortly after.

According to Cuthbert the patch comes as a result of player feedback, with Q-Games introducing some tweaks in to order encourage more players to give Eden a go.

“In order to help people having trouble right at the beginning, we’ve changed the large crystals so they replenish a whole half of your oscillator (time) metre,” explained Cuthbert. “Even if you run out of time, we allow you to continue from the last Spectra you collected.”

Cuthbert also points out that they’ve now fixed the multiplayer camera and will be announcing details of an “Encore” version of Eden in the next couple of months.
