Ace Attorney 5, confirmed for release on Nintendo 3DS, will see Phoenix Wright return as the main character, Famitsu reports (via Andriasang).
The Japanese gaming magazine also confirms the game will feature a new girl character said to play a key role in the game – her identity will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show later this month during a 15-minute demo.
The new 3DS game is set one year after Ace Attorney 4 and begins with an explosion at the courthouse. High school student Shinobu is charged. In the case Phoenix Wright will go up against Winston Payne’s brother.
The transition from DS to 3DS brings with it fully 3D characters, with facial expressions able to be set during testimony.
