Phoenix Wright is back on the DS, with four new cases, each with new characters, plot twists and new gameplay features. Playing as defence attorney Phoenix Wright, your goal is to prove your client’s innocence, but this won’t be easy when you come up against the most ruthless of adversaries.

As Phoenix, players will have to collect evidence, analyse testimonies, examine witnesses, and seek the truth. One of the new features in the sequel is the Psyche-Lock, meaning some characters hold the truth under lock and key, and to get at the truth Phoenix must successfully open the character’s Psyche-Locks. This can be achieved with a series of correct questions, or spotting an inconsistency in their testimony.

Linked to the Psyche-Lock system is a new life bar that represents Phoenix’s status in court. If you present incorrect evidence or fail to break a Psyche-Lock the bar will go down, but successfully break a Lock and the bar will increase.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice for All is scheduled for release in PAL territories in Q1 2007.
