PES’s European Team Leader Jon Murphy has left Konami.

Murphy leaves after 16 years at the company, having been responsible for the PES brand across Europe. He had become established amongst the PES community as one of the series’ most prominent figureheads within Konami.
“After 16 years at Konami I’ve decided to seek new challenges,” Murphy wrote on Twitter. “Thanks all and please continue to support [PES European Product Manager] @Adam_Bhatti”.
Murphy is the second high profile exit from Konami’s European arm in recent weeks, with veteran Castlevania: Lords of Shadow producer Dave Cox having left the publisher late last month.
PES 2015 goes on sale on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this November.
