Konami has revealed that Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, aka PES 2018, will be getting a demo on August 30. The PES 2018 demo will give players the opportunity to try out the new slower-paced gameplay, while also showing off some of the new features that are coming in the September 12 release of Konami’s stellar football series.

The demo will be offline only, with players able to take part in exhibition and co-op modes. There’ll be two stadiums to choose from, Barcelona’s Camp Nou and Borussia Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park, and players will have a selection of licensed European teams to choose from including the likes of Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, and some team that plays in red from Liverpool. There’ll also be a number of South American teams to choose from such as Corinthians, Flamengo, Boca Juniors, River Plate, and Colo-Colo. Sadly there’s no Chapecoense in the demo, but there will be in the full game. Finally, three national teams are also available for selection: Argentina, Brazil and Germany.

Players will get the chance to try out the game’s slower and more methodical gameplay, attempt to weave through defences with the new strategic dribbling and even implement some tiki-taka style into their games.

PES 2018’s demo will be available for download on August 30 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Sorry, no PC demo folks.Â
