Square Enix has today announced a spring 2009 release of the Games for Windows version of The Last Remnant in PAL territories.

Already available for Xbox 360, The Last Remnant is a completely original adventure title built using Epic’s Unreal Engine 3.

John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. commented: “The Last Remnant represents a significant step in bringing our titles to a global audience and to all fans regardless of the platforms that they own. Following the Xbox 360 release, we hope to reach a new audience with the Games for Windows version of The Last Remnant and I hope that fans enjoy this exciting new adventure.”

Square Enix notes that the PC version will include “features not included in the original Xbox 360 release version”, although doesn’t detail what these will be.
