Payday 2: The Death Wish Update is available to download now for free on Steam, introducing a brand new Death Wish difficulty mode, a new weapon and two new enemies.
The update is described as the second “late-game update” for Payday 2, with the new difficulty designed to physically alter each heist, destroying key bridges and introducing more skylights to mix up the way players approach each map.
The CENSEC Elite SWAT Team and LMG-wielding Elite Bulldozer have also joined the fight to help stop would-be thieves from escaping with the cash, although a new Brass Knuckles melee weapon should help players put them down.
And finally, there are 35 new difficulty-related achievements to unlock.
A release date for The Death Wish Update on consoles has yet to be announced.
