JoWooD has announced that Painkiller: Resurrection, the latest title in the popular FPS series from Austrian development studio Homegrown Games, has gone gold.
In Painkiller: Resurrection players take on the role of ‘Wild Bill’ Sherman who gets drawn into the endless war between Heaven and Hell. The game’s described as a straight action shooter, meaning there’s no puzzles or complex reloading, just non-stop action. The game’s scheduled for release on October 27 in North America, while a UK release is planned for November. A demo of Painkiller: Resurrection will be available shortly.
