Outsource Media, a leading voice production company, has announced that it has created the voice of Pac-Man. Pac-Man’s newly discovered voice has been created to celebrate his 25th anniversary, with his famous “wocka wocka” sound now being replaced by a full vocabulary voiced by Martin T. Sherman. His voice will be first heard in Namco Hometek’s Pac-Man World 3.

Sherman has worked on big Hollywood blockbusters such as Gangs of New York and Batman Begins and will now be voicing the Yellow head that likes nothing more than to eat stuff. Pac-Man will now talk throughout his latest adventure and provide back-story information and interact with other characters in the game.

Pac-Man World 3 is being developed for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PSP and PC and will be available in November 2005 in the US and early 2006 in Europe.
