Ozzy Osbourne is the latest rockstar to be confirmed for an appearance in Tim Schafer’s Brutal Legend. The veteran metaller is set to appear as The Guardian of Metal, a character who looks pretty much identical to Ozzy himself. He appears to be a good guy.

Several other rockers have already been revealed for the game. Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford will play two roles: the leader of a friendly biker gang, and General Lionwhyte – the villainous head of The Metal Hair Militia.

Lita Ford from The Runaways and Lemmy from Motorhead are also set to appear. Jack Black plays Eddie Riggs – the heroic roadie caught in a mysterious world based on rock iconography.

During his presentation, Shafer made veiled references to his teenage masturbatory habits. Which was nice.
