Night School Studio has announced that the Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals release date is currently slated for Summer 2023. The long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed 2016 entry continues on from where its predecessor left off with Riley now returning to her hometown of Camena to investigate another supernatural occurrence.

So if you’re looking forward to playing through this supernaturally thrilling continuation of our heroine’s tale, then you’re in luck because we’ll be providing all the details you need below to prepare for its launch. With that said, keep reading on to find out when the release date for Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals is going to be.

Oxenfree 2 Lost Signals release date

Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals will be released on July 12, 2023 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and on Netflix. Unfortunately, those playing on Xbox platforms won’t be able to join Riley and her friends on their adventure as it seemingly won’t be made available on Microsoft’s system.

But aside from its omission on Xbox, fans of the supernatural thriller series were surprised upon learning of the game’s playability on the streaming service. According to the developers, it will apparently be launched on the aforementioned date “for mobile devices on Netflix,” meaning those subscribed to the well-known media platform can play the follow-up installment on the go.

If you’re curious about this puzzling partnership, this is mainly because Night School Studio had previously been acquired by Netflix in 2021. This was the media giant’s first video game studio acquisition, which made releasing the highly anticipated sequel on their platform a no-brainer. The worldwide reach that Netflix has should also present a huge opportunity for the indie developers as it will allow their creation to reach a wider market that they previously didn’t have access to.
