Overwatch 2 has been a controversial game in recent months due to a number of issues and while players have their complaints about the sequel to Overwatch, one thing they miss more than anything is the post-game cards.

With it recently being announced that Overwatch 2 is set to make its way to Steam next month, players have been reminiscing about the old post-game card system from the original Overwatch. Taking to the Overwatch Reddit one user said, “Man, I miss post-game cards SO MUCH!!” The system itself showed off specific accomplishments varying players earned during a match outside of the now basic scoreboard system.

Alongside this, other players noted they miss the social aspect of Overwatch that appears to have been lost in the game’s sequel. One player said, “As nice as they were, I really miss after a longer post-game time while everyone was still in the lobby. It was a nice way to thank your teammates or talk about the match or POTG and stay as a group. Now you don’t get any time at all it feels like before you’re wooshed to another game.” This seemed to be a regular problem among Overwatch 2 players as another player said, “It was nice because you could vote to stay as a team after more than 0.2 seconds past the end of the game.”

As some fans pointed out, the system went “hand in hand with endorsements.” Many fans are hoping that the feature will return at some point during Overwatch 2’s lifespan but many more are annoyed it was removed at all in the first place. Whether Blizzard will choose to reintroduce this feature in a future update will have to remain to be seen.
