Overkill’s The Walking Dead has revealed the latest survivor to join the grisly zombie-head-stomping actioner in an eerie new character reveal trailer.
While not going into all that much detail, it’s clear that Maya served as a doctor prior to the world going to hell, with the footage recalling events around the time of the outbreak that saw her having to deal with zombified patients and even putting a bullet in the head of an infected co-worker.
Sadly we didn’t get a look at any actual gameplay, which seems to be part and parcel of Overkill’s The Walking Dead as of late. Presumably that’s set to change soon though, as the horror title will be launching for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in fall this year.
While the game is set in the same universe as Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead comic book series, there are currently no plans to introduce Rick Grimes and other familiar faces into the game right now.
