The Taito developed game puts players in the hot-seat of more than thirty of the most powerful jet fighters, taking part in massive dogfights in the skies of Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. Players will encounter enemies in the air and on the ground, and must complete dangerous strike missions in the heart of enemy territory.
“With Over G Fighters, Ubisoft is delivering one of the most comprehensive and accurate flight titles ever created,” said Tony Key, vice president of marketing at Ubisoft. “Harnessing the power of the Xbox 360TM, Over G Fighters depicts a precise recreation of the world’s most distinguished jet fighters in battle and further demonstrates Ubisoft’s strength in the next-generation air combat genre.“
In total the game will feature more than 80 missions as you attempt to stop a terrorist organization threatening the world’s peace and security. The game will include an instant action option, allowing the player to jump straight into battle, from one-on-one dogfights to massive fights that fill the sky. Over G will also feature Xbox Live play for up to eight players, either in head-to-head combat or cooperative team play between squadrons.
Over G Fighters is scheduled to ship to North America and Europe in June.
