Outland, the next game from Super Stardust HD developer Housemarque, has been given a late April/early May release for PSN. The game has also been announced for XBLA, but no date has been given.

The Ubisoft published downloadable title mixes side-scrolling shooting with platforming. There’s also a hint of Ikaruga-like gameplay, with the main character able to absorb projectiles of his colour. As well as a campaign, there will be an Arcade mode and a set of co-op challenges.
