Cutesy platformer Ori and the Blind Forest will release on Xbox One and Steam on March 11, Moon Studios has announced.

Both versions will cost $19.99, although a UK price has yet to be confirmed.

In development for 4 years, Ori and the Blind Forest sees players take control of a spirit through a mystical forest, with inspiration said to have been taken from classic 90s games Super Metroid, Castlevania and The Legend of Zelda: A Link To the Past.

“Ori is a bit of a coming-of-age story,” said Moon. “The player is put into the role of a forest spirit, who – over the course of his journey – has to find out more about his role within the world he’s living in. We tried to create memorable characters in an atmospheric world and to craft a story that players will truly care about!”

An Xbox 360 version is also expected to be in development for release later in 2015.
