Speaking to Chris Kohler of Wired’s Game|Life blog, John Carmack has revealed that he is looking at bringing his mobile phone game, Orcs and Elves, to the Nintendo DS.
“We’re hoping to do a DS game version of Orcs and Elves, moving over and enhancing the cell phone game on there, which would be our first real direct entry back into the Nintendo world,” said Carmack.
Nintendo and id Software haven’t exactly seen eye-to-eye in the past, with Nintendo’s opposition to gratuitous violence not sitting well with the Doom creators. We’ll keep you posted on any developments regarding Orcs and Elves for the DS.
