Take-Two Interactive and 2K Games have announced the videogame version of the Tim Burton directed Charlie and the chocolate Factory movie. The game will ship on PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PC and GBA in July 2005.
The game lets you embark on a fantastic adventure, exploring the factory and the puzzles that lie inside. You must help the Oompa-Loompas to restore order to the factory and stop the naughty children from running amuck.
Charlie will be given fantastic powers as he finds new and exciting sweets in the factory. While based on the new feature film, the game will include some environments from the book that were not included in the movie.
We’ll bring you more on the game as the release date approaches.
