Activision and Treyarch have announced that the Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1 has been downloaded more than one million times during its first weekend of availability on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network.

“I’m proud that the team at Treyarch delivered an experience that so many people are enjoying,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head for Treyarch. “We’re excited that the success of Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1 will continue to drive the popularity of the game’s Nazi Zombie mode, competitive multiplayer and chart-breaking success online.”

Additionally, Microsoft has announced that the map pack set a new record for number of downloads in its first week of release on Xbox LIVE. Since the launch of the pack, Xbox LIVE members have played more than 150 million multiplayer sessions on Call of Duty: World at War.

The map pack contains four maps (Nightfire, Station, Knee Deep and Verruckt) and is priced 800 MS Points / $9.99.
