Microsoft has today announced the Official European Halo 3 Tournament Sponsored By Samsung TV. This will offer Xbox 360 gamers from countries across Europe the chance to show off their Halo 3 skills and potentially win some cool prizes.
Beginning today, Halo 3 gamers can sign up by heading to the Xbox LIVE Dashboard and clicking on The Official Halo 3 European Tournament Sponsored By Samsung adverts, and download the exclusive free GamerPic.
Tournament play runs from March 18-30, with entrants required to perform in three game modes: Slayer, King of the Hill and Oddball. At the end of play, the top ranked player from each European country will be crowned Halo 3 National Champion and will be rewarded with exclusive Halo 3 artwork. They will then progress to the European Final with prizes including a Samsung Crystal Design 40″ Series 6 FHD TV and a brand new Xbox 360 Elite are on offer.
