Oddworld creator Lorne Lanning has revealed the much loved Oddworld series will soon be making an appearance on PC digital distribution outlets including steam, and PSN.

“All four of the major Oddworld games will be re-releasing this winter in a package called The Oddbox,” Lanning told Bitmob.

Yeah, that’s right, all four games – Abe’s Oddysee, Abe’s Exoddus, Munch’s Oddysee and the criminally overlooked Stranger’s Wrath. The digital release will be the first time Stranger’s Wrath has been released on a platform other than Xbox.

PS3 gamers will also be getting an Oddworld fix, with Lanning telling Bitmob: “We just signed the contract this week and the original Abe games will officially be coming to PSN very soon.”

The Oddworld news doesn’t end there, though, with Lanning revealing that an announcement regarding new material is coming soon.

“Regarding new material, we hope to have an announcement soon, but I’ve been saying that for awhile now so I’ll just shut up and hope for the best,” he explained.
