Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, a ground-up remake of the much-loved original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, will launch for Xbox One via the ID@Xbox publishing program on March 27, Oddworld Inhabitants has announced.

The game’s release marks the first appearance of an Oddworld title on the Xbox platform since Stranger’s Wrath excited Xbox gamers back in 2005.

Developed by Just Add Water, New ‘n’ Tasty tells the tale of Abe who learns that his fellow meat factory co-workers are to be the main ingredients in the company’s next line of tasty treats.

The game benefits from improvements and tweaks already made to the PlayStation 4 version, including the fan-requested old school control settings, QuickSave and QuickLoad functions and a full suite of achievements and online leaderboards.

The game will be available priced £14.99.
