Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee is in development for iOS and Android devices, Oddworld Inhabitants has announced.

Square One Games, which handled the mobile version of Stranger’s Wrath HD, is in charge of bringing the original Xbox launch title to a new audience.

PC gamers should also listen up as Square One Games will use the mobile version of Munch’s Oddysee as a basis of a reissue on Steam, to be released as a free upgrade to all existing owners.

Munch’s Oddysee is a 3D platformer which follows the story of Munch, Oddworld’s last remaining Gabbit, who together with his friend Abe delivers payback to the Vykkers corporation.

A Steam version was originally released in December 2010. A few years later an HD version was released for PS3 and PS Vita complete with improved character models.
