Square Enix has pinned a June 7 release date to the PC version of Octopath Traveler, with the game arriving digitally via Steam.
Octopath Traveler was previously released on Nintendo Switch back in 2018, and takes the form of a turn-based RPG developed by Square Enix in collaboration with Acquire. One of its most distinguishing features are the HD-2D visuals, which combine SNES-era character sprites and environments with modern high-definition effects. It looks rather lovely, actually.
