Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian has strongly hinted that it will unveil its latest project at next week's The Game Awards.

The studio, recently acquired by Microsoft, posted a couple of images on its website as well as a countdown timer that specifically mentions the awards (via XBA). We already know that there will be more than 10 games announced at the event, so there's every chance Obsidian might have something planned.

It also helps that we know the studio is working on a brand new RPG, so it was never a case of if it will reveal a new game, but when.

The Game Awards 2018 take place on December 6, although I won't be watching it as it takes place too bloody early in the morning here in the UK.
