Obliteracers, a party racing game from independent Australian studio Varkian Empire, will launch for PS4 and Xbox One on July 15, publisher/developer Deck 13 (Lords of the Fallen, The Surge) has announced.
The game launched on PC earlier this year, and hopes to find an even bigger audience on consoles.
“We were thrilled to see how well the game was received on PC, and now we’re bringing the experience into the lounge room where it really shines. We’re looking forward to some seriously chaotic party racing nights,” commented Michael Davies, CEO of Varkian Empire.
Supporting up to 16 players on one screen, Obliteracers is less about speed and more about keeping up with other players, using weapons to knock them out of the race. Online play is also supported, though this is really about playing with friends in one room.
