The PS4 won’t be the only gaming platform to allow players to share their experience with friends over a stream for much longer, with Nvidia having announced similar functionality coming soon to its GeForce Experience application.
Arriving next month, the Share early access beta will give gamers tools via a new in-game overlay to access video capture and Twitch streaming, integrated YouTube upload capabilities, and GameStream Co-Op.
GameStream Co-op uses the Internet, the performance of GeForce GTX PCs, and the low-latency streaming components of GeForce GTX Kepler and Maxwell GPUs to enable players to invite friends straight into their games.
Friends can either watch you play, take control of your game with mirrored controls, or play alongside you in supported multi-controller games like Trine 3, Gauntlet and FIFA 15.
You’ll also be able to hear what your friend is saying thanks to built-in voice chat.
