Today Nvidia launched its latest generation video card, the Geforce 7800 GTX. Unlike usual chip launches, the part has been officially announced and shipped to retail on the same day. You can actually buy a 7800 GTX today at a suggested retail price of $600 or £400.
Nvidia’s Geforce 7800 GTX comes weeks before ATI unveils its R520 chip, and according to benchmarks hitting the internet the 7800 GTX is the fastest graphics card available today.
