Final Fantasy 13’s recent Steam release featured a 720p resolution cap, much to the anger of PC gamers unable to make the most of their powerful systems.
Thankfully, modder Durante – who’s GeDoSaTo tool has previously enhanced Dark Souls and Deadly premonition – has released an update to support up to 3840×2160 resolution in FF13.
“The game performs really well from what I’ve seen, both GPU and CPU-wise. But their frame limiting/pacing stuff sometimes seems to bug out,” Durante explained.
There appears to be regular updates too, which should hopefully iron out most the bugs.
