DrinkBox Studios has announced its latest game Nobody Saves the World will arrive on PlayStation consoles and Nintendo Switch next week.
The latest game from the studio that brought us Guacamelee! originally arrived on Xbox and PC back in January. However, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch players will now also get their hands on the game from April 14. On the same day, a patch is also coming to all formats that adds local co-op to the game.
In case you’re unfamiliar, you play as the titular Nobody. They’re a seemingly non-descript hero that happens to have the ability to transform into one of fifteen forms. You’ll use the abilities and powers of these forms to take on quests and slay foes in dungeons and save the world from a great Calamity.
On top of these 15 forms, there’s over 80 form abilities that can be mixed and matched as you see fit. Want to play as an egg that can shoot fireballs but also leave a trail of slime? Knock yourself out. The games’ co-op mode also lets you combine abilities with your partner to make even more possibilities for mayhem and fun. The procedurally generated dungeons meanwhile, will keep you on your toes. (Or whatever mode of transport ghosts use.)
