Following their introduction in Treyarch’s World at War, the Nazi zombies have proved a popular addition to the Call of Duty multiplayer experience, but fans hoping for more living dead action, only now in Modern Warfare 2, are out of luck.
According to Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling, “there will be no Nazis or zombies in any piece of Modern Warfare 2 downloadable content”.
Given it’s assumed Treyarch is currently readying the next instalment in the franchise – rumoured to be set during the Vietnam War – there’s every chance the rotting lovelies will be making a comeback this autumn.
