Infinity Ward has confirmed that there will be no pre-release demo for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Posting on Twitter the developer stated: “No plan for a Demo before launch. The entire team is focused on polish all the way up to ship of the full game.”
If any game doesn’t need a demo it’s Modern Warfare 2, with retailers and analysts predicting the game will break new sales records when it launches worldwide on November 10.
The news will, however, come as a disappointment to fans desperate to get their hands on the title. Xbox 360 gamers have previously been invited to take part in multiplayer betas for both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: World at War.
