343 Industries has no plans to release campaign DLC for Halo 5: Guardians, creative director Josh Holmes has revealed.
Holmes confirmed the news to Red Bull, telling the site: “While we’re always looking for new ways to expand the Halo universe, we do not currently have any plans to release future campaign content for Halo 5: Guardians.”
The developer does have plans to release future content for the game’s multiplayer mode, however, including 18+ multiplayer maps set to be released for free.
Forge mode, a multiplayer map editor that lets players create all new custom battlefields, is also due to release in December.
Halo 5: Guardians launches exclusively on Xbox One today and, according to Tom, it’s well worth picking up.
“I can confidently say that the combat here, presented over 10 or so hours, is the most fun I’ve had in an FPS campaign in many, many years,” he wrote in his review-in-progress. “Halo 5 Guardians is as slick and bombastic as an exclusive should be hitting all the right notes in a campaign that is thrilling from end to end.”
