Grasshopper Manufacture's Goichi Suda has revealed he's keen on making No More Heroes 3 at some point.

Suda51 is currently beavering away on his latest title, Travis Strikes Again, which is pencilled in for release in January 2019. However, while it's set in the same universe as No More Heroes, he was keen to point out that it's not a true sequel to the second game.

That's not to say that he doesn't want to make No More Heroes 3, though.

'Yeah, I'd really want to,' Suda told Game Informer. 'Those kinds of projects are hard to think about when you're deep into another game. But Travis Strikes Again is one part of the No More Heroes story, it's not the end of it.'

No More Heroes launched as a Wii-exclusive back in 2008, and spawned a sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, two years later.

As mentioned, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes isn't officially the third instalment in the series, but is still part of the franchise. It's out exclusively for Switch on January 18, 2019.
