With a new Gears of War title now on the horizon - full details to come during Microsoft's conference on Monday - Epic has confirmed that there will be no more DLC for Gears of War 3.

Taking to Twitter, Epic Games director of production Rod Fergusson said: "BTW with the announce of the new Gears game, I can confirm that there's no more DLC for Gears 3."

However, there's still plenty of community events planned for the hit action game. Fergusson added: "But we're still having Gears Weekends and community events and playlists - lots of fun still to come."

Epic had previously said it would only put out more Gears 3 DLC if "players are dying for it and they want it", so I guess demand won't be there with a new Gears title incoming.
