Hideo Kojima has stated Metal Gear Solid 5 will not make an appearance at this year’s E3, according to the latest episode of the Kojima Productions podcast in which he was interviewed.
Kojima gave Yes or No responses to a number of questions about the series, which you can listen to online.
Additionally he says there will be an end of the year release date for Metal Gear Solid 3D on 3DS but no NGP port of Metal Gear Solid 4.
The interview segment begins at the 33:30 mark, however for non-Japanese speakers Andriasang has translated the pertinent responses as follows:

The designer has already confirmed a number of upcoming Kojima Productions announcements will be made on the same day as Konami’s pre-E3 press conference.
