No Man's Sky has been given a massive shot in the arm thanks to last week's Next update, although as with most major patches there were a few teething issues. One of the biggest offenders came in the shape of a nasty little bugger that resulted in broken game saves.
Fortunately, developer Hello Games has been quick to remedy the issue with No Man's Sky update 1.51, which not only eliminates that particular issue but also fixes a bunch of other problems, too.
The update is now available to download for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One versions of the game. Be sure to have a gander at the full list of patch notes here.
No Man's Sky was originally released for PC and PS4 in summer 2016, although at the time it was heavily criticised for failing to deliver on creator Sean Murray's lofty ambitions.
However, Hello Games has since provided a steady stream of updates for the space exploration title, with Next by far the biggest to date. The patch also coincided with the release of the Xbox One version of No Man's Sky.
Murray recently admitted that he made a number of mistakes with No Man's Sky, although it's pretty obvious that the game has now changed for the better.
