Hello Games has announced that sprawling space exploration title No Man’s Sky is coming to the Xbox One.
Creator Sean Murray confirmed that the game will also be receiving another major update, titled Next, this summer for PlayStation 4 and PC. Murray isn’t saying much right now, but has teased the patch will be the ‘biggest update so far’ for No Man’s Sky and that the team will continue to support the game ‘for the foreseeable future.’
The Xbox One version will include support for 4K resolution and High-Dynamic Range (HDR) for Xbox One X, and features all of the previous game updates including Next at launch. Players can also snap up a physical copy of the title if they wish, which will be released worldwide by publisher 505 Games.
No Man’s Sky was released on PS4 and PC in August 2016 and was hyped up enormously by Murray at press events prior to launch, though sadly failed to deliver on its ambitions. While pretty to look at, VideoGamer found it to be a pretty repetitive and grind-y experience when all was said and done.
