Naughty Dog’s Christophe Balestra has confirmed on his Twitter that the studio’s upcoming PS3 exclusive action title, Uncharted 2, “does not require any install”.
This means PS3 gamers will be able to jump straight into the action without having to sit through minutes of waiting around while data is installed to the PS3’s hard drive.
Uncharted 2 will be released in North America on October 13. No European release date has been confirmed, although Balestra earlier confirmed that the European launch date is not October 23 and that the “release date will be announced soon”.
