Call of Duty Elite will not launch on Wii U and PC alongside the imminent arrival of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Activision has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.

“We are currently evaluating options for Call of Duty Elite to support the PC and Nintendo’s Wii U game system,” explained a statement from the publisher. “However, at launch Elite will not support PC or Wii U.”

Elite never made it to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on PC, but given the new free offering perhaps Black Ops II has a better chance.

This means those wishing to make use of Elite must opt for the Xbox 360 or PS3 version of Black Ops II.
