The PC version of Watch Dogs will launch “day and date” with the current-gen console versions on November 22, Ubisoft has confirmed.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com this morning, a Ubisoft representative said that they “can confirm that Watch_Dogs will launch on PC, Xbox 360, PS3 & Wii U on 22nd November in the UK”.

The game is also expected to be available at the launch of Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The news will come as a relief to PC gamers.

Ubisoft has a tendency to delay the PC version of its multiformat releases. Last week, it was revealed that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag will not be available until “a few weeks after” the release of the current-gen versions on November 1.

Elsewhere this morning, a mysterious new Watch Dogs site has appeared online asking fans to be “prepared for WeareData”. But what could the site be teasing…?
