Speaking at a financial briefing in Tokyo, Wada revealed the news that all Final Fantasy fans didn’t want to hear – Final Fantasy XIII is still quite a long way from completion.
“It will still take a bit more time. At the very least, [a release] this fiscal year is definitely out of the question,” said Wada.
This means the game won’t be released in Japan until some time after March 2008, and with the game likely to take its time to make the move to the US and then Europe, we could be in for a very long wait.
