Team Ninja has included an option to prioritise framerate over resolution in the demo of brutal action title Nioh on PS4.
Although not publicised by publisher Koei Tecmo, the game’s menu features the option to switch between ‘Movie Mode’ and ‘Action Mode’. Movie Mode prioritises resolution over framerate, whereas Action Mode puts a smooth framerate above all else.
There does appear to be a clear difference in framerate, as you can see in the video below.
Whether or not such an option will be present in the final game isn’t clear, with Team Ninja seeking player feedback from the demo.
The Nioh demo will be available on PS4 until May 5.
