A beta demo of Nioh will be released for PS4 on August 23, Team Ninja and Tecmo Koei have announced. The demo will be removed on September 6.
The earlier alpha demo, available April 26 – May 5, was downloaded over 850,000 times, giving the developer valuable feedback.
Players of the beta demo will have access to a new dojo stage which will feature a training session focusing on the basics of Nioh’s combat system. A yet to be announced stage will also be included, as will a selection of new Katana, Spears, Axes and Hammers.
Nioh is scheduled to launch later this year.
