Nintendo has announced NintendoLand, a new Wii U title that features a series of mini-games to demonstrate the functionality of the Wii U GamePad.

Nintendo compares the product to Wii’s Wii Sports, the software title that originally came bundled with Nintendo’s Wii hardware.

NintendoLand features a series of Nintendo-themed ‘attractions’, including Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest, Luigi’s Ghost Mansion, Donkey Kong’s Crash Course and Takamara’s Ninja Castle.

Each attraction features different types of gameplay that takes advantage of the Wii U GamePad.

Luigi’s Ghost Mansion, for example, features a top-down view of the mansion where multiple players can go on ghost hunts.

It also features integration with Nintendo’s Miiverse, the Wii U’s new social network feature revealed earlier this week.

NintendoLand will launch alongside Wii U ‘this holiday’.
